Sergeant Benjamin Brown
After graduating from the Delaware County Community College Municipal Police Academy in December 2013, Sergeant Brown was hired as a part-time Police Officer for the South Coatesville Borough. After a year and a half, he accepted a part-time position with the New Garden Township Police Department and in 2016 was promoted to full-time. During his first year as a New Garden Township Police Police Officer, he was awarded the DUI Enforcement Award. He plans to continue to keep the roads safe for our citizens and is proud to be a Sergeant of the Southern Chester County Police Department.
Sergeant Brown attended Penn State University for an Economics and Criminal Justice degree. One thing that sets Sergeant Brown apart from his colleagues is he is the lone Dallas Cowboys fan in the Department.
