To that end, the police department cooperates with request to conduct academic internship. These positions are strictly voluntary and limited; awarded on a first-come, first-served process. Intern applicants shall submit their request through the Academic Advisor, complete all advisory and waiver acknowledgments and successfully complete a criminal history background. The program schedule is flexible, but interns must be available to work both day and night shifts. Additionally, it’s recommended that the intern candidates possess an acceptable level of maturity and ability to perform assigned administrative tasks without direct supervision.
