The members of the Southern Chester County Regional Police Department would like to congratulate PFC Gerard “Gerry” Lindenlauf on his retirement.  A ceremony will be held at the New Garden Township regular meeting on Monday, September 18, 2017 at 7:30 pm.  As a respectful gesture to the origins of PFC Lindenlauf’s law enforcement career, the ceremony will take place at the New Garden Township Board Room.

PFC Gerard Lindenlauf’s Biography

Officer Lindenlauf started his career in Public Safety in 1984 working as a Police/Fire dispatcher for the Chester County Radio Room. In 1988, he graduated from Delaware County Police Academy and that was the start of his career in Law Enforcement.  Officer Lindenlauf has always focused on traffic safety and enforcement and therefore in 1990 he was one of the first Municipal Police Officers in the Commonwealth to be certified in the inspection of commercial vehicles and drivers. 

In May of 1994 he was hired by the New Garden Twp. Police Department and continued to serve the community with the Southern Chester County Police Department.  In the 29 years that Officer Lindenlauf has been in law enforcement, he has received multiple certifications and letters of appreciation for his professionalism and outstanding dedication to the law enforcement profession.

Officer Lindenlauf and his wife Barb reside in Chester County where they have lived all their lives.
