BACKGROUND: In the summer of 2022, New Garden Township and West Chester University (WCU) partnered to commission a scientific study of air quality near agricultural properties, including the quantity of ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, and methane. 

The goal was to have WCU synthesize the collected data into a finalized report, separate from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) study that yielded a state commissioned Letter Health Consultation Report and Town Hall public presentation on March 21st, 2024.

MEETING INFORMATION: If you are interested in attending, the report will be provided as a Special Meeting on Wednesday, September 4th at 7 PM.
