The New Garden Growers Market which takes place in front of the township maintenance garage on Route 41, will reopen for its 11th season, on Saturday, May 9th this year. This is New Garden Township’s very own outdoor, seasonal farmer’s market and it takes place every Saturday from 9:00am to 1:00 pm until the Saturday before Thanksgiving.
Starting on opening day, there will be asparagus and salad greens available from the farmers, as well as vegetable plants, herbs, and flowers for your home garden. You can also partake of the many other food items available, including baked goods, local cheeses, honey and eggs, as well as mushrooms, jams and jellies, salsa, wine, and naturally raised meats. Come on out and partake of the community feel that pervades the market and go home with some delicious items that will bring you back for more!
