Pemberton Road between Cedar Springs and Bancroft Roads will be closed today for widening and base repair operations. 

Paving work has been completed on Kelleher on Friday.

The Public Works department are keeping an eye on the forecasted rain towards the end of the week, as it may result in changing the paving schedule yet again.

The revised tentative schedule (weather permitting) for the rest of the paving program will be as follows:

• August 5th – Widening and base repair on Pemberton Rd between Cedar Spring and Bancroft Roads
• August 6th – Widening and base repair on Pemberton Rd between Cedar Spring and Bancroft Roads
• August 7th – Leveling course on Pemberton Rd. between Cedar Spring and Bancroft Roads
• August 13th – Widening and base repair on Starr Rd between Ellicott and Penn Green Roads
• August 14th – Widening and base repair on Starr Rd between Ellicott and Penn Green Roads
• August 15th – Paving on Starr Road between Ellicott and Penn Green Roads
• August 16th – Paving on Pemberton Rd. between Cedar Spring and Bancroft Roads

The work will generally take place between 6:30am and 6:30pm and each road section will be closed to through traffic.  Residents and local deliveries will be able to access properties within the work zones but through traffic will need to seek alternate routes of travel. 

Please obey all signage during the work.  We will do our best to have flaggers at intersections to aid everyone in getting to where they need to go with minimal inconvenience.
