The Board of Supervisors of New Garden Township, Chester County, PA will conduct a conditional use hearing on Wednesday, June 5th, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at the New Garden Municipal Building located at 299 Starr Road, Landenberg, PA 19350 to consider the application of Deborah Hampton for property she owns located at 188 New Garden Road, Avondale, PA, further identified as UPI #60-3-112, consisting of 3.2 acres more or less and located in the R-1 Low Density Residential District. Applicant seeks conditional use approval under section 200-137(C) of the New Garden Township Zoning Ordinance to permit a change in the use of a commercial building at the property to a residential dwelling. Currently on the property are a residential dwelling and the commercial building which is sought to be converted to a residential use.
