***Hillendale Road Closure***
Hillendale Road will be closed to through traffic for widening and base repair today, August 4th, from roughly 6:30am to 6pm between Newark Road and Chambers Road and Newark Road and Thompson Road, depending on where work is taking place.
During the road closures, please obey all signs and flaggers' directions. While the roadways will be closed to through traffic, residents will be able to get to and from their houses, but you may have to do that from a different way than normal. Please let flaggers know where you are trying to get to, and they will get you there with as little inconvenience as possible.
Weather permitting, the tentative paving schedule is as follows:
- Monday 8/4 – Widen Hillendale Road
- Tuesday 8/5 – Widen Hillendale Road
- Wednesday 8/6 – Widen Hillendale Road
- Thursday 8/7 – Widen Hillendale Road
- Friday 8-8 – Level Hillendale Road
- Monday 8/11 – Level Hillendale Road
- Tuesday 8/12 – Pave Wearing Course Hillendale Road
Additionally, Highland Court and Hillside Lane in Bancroft Woods and a section of Portmarnock in Hartefeld are scheduled to be paved as well.
- Tuesday 8/12 – Surface Mill Highland Ct., Hillside Lane and Portmarnock Dr.
- Wednesday 8/13 – Base Repair Highland Ct., Hillside Lane. (Portmarnock Dr. if time allows)
- Thursday 8/14 - Place wearing Course Highland Ct., Hillside Lane and Portmarnock Dr.
