ZONING UPDATE - PUBLIC HEARING #1
On Wednesday, June 25th, 2025, the New Garden Township Planning Commission will hold the first Public Hearing as part of the zoning project adoption process. ***NOTE***
The Planning Commission will meet at 6:30 pm to facilitate the Township's additional official business, followed promptly by the Zoning Public Hearing at 7 pm.
LOCATION
- New Garden Town Hall, 299 Starr Rd, Landenberg, PA
WHERE
- New Garden Township Building (299 Starr Road)
PURPOSE
- Share the draft zoning ordinance (April 21, 2025 version) with the Planning Commission in a public forum.
- Present an overview of the zoning update process and goals.
- Share public feedback received from the public outreach meetings and submitted written comment with the Planning Commission.
- Provide a forum for public comment.
- Provide an opportunity for Planning Commission to discuss their thoughts on the public comment, zoning process, and goals.
FORMAT
The first hour of the public hearing will consist of a presentation from the project team, on behalf of the Zoning Task Force, and discussion with the Planning Commission. During the second half of the meeting, the Planning Commission will facilitate public comment.
