Recycling is mandatory in New Garden Township for residents and businesses. New Garden Township is mandated by the State to implement and enforce a recycling program. As a Pennsylvania resident, you support a special fund that is dispersed to Townships that comply with the State Mandate. This fund is used by the municipalities to create and maintain a recycling program. New Garden receives $2 for every ton collected.
